Building the Future, Together — When the Time Is Right
Herptivarius, LLC is a new, Metro Detroit–based organization operating a reptile business online.
As we continue developing our infrastructure, expanding our offerings, and laying the foundation for long-term growth, we recognize the importance of surrounding ourselves with dedicated, passionate professionals.
At this time, Herptivarius is not actively hiring.
Our company is in an early operational phase, and we are thoughtfully building the systems, policies, and structure required to support future employees in a responsible and sustainable way.
However, we welcome individuals who are interested in future career opportunities to submit their résumé for consideration. While we cannot provide a timeline for when positions may open, all submissions will be kept on file and reviewed as staffing needs arise.
Absolutely, we will require a staff, as what we are building will be too much for just a small handful of people to handle.
Future Opportunities May Include:
Animal Care & Husbandry
Retail Operations (Reptivarius™)
Content, Media Production, and Photography
Logistics & Order Fulfillment
Customer Support
Administrative & Compliance Roles
Human Resources
Accounting & Finance
Marketing & Brand Operations
As our company grows, these roles — and others — may become available in stages.
Please send a PDF résumé and brief introduction to HR@herptivarius.com. Submissions are kept on file as expressions of interest only and do not constitute an application for a current job opening.
Due to our early-stage status, we are not able to provide individual application updates.
Equal Opportunity Statement
Herptivarius, LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering a respectful, professional, and inclusive environment as our organization develops.
Herptivarius, LLC — was founded in part through firsthand experiences with disability and the need for reasonable workplace accommodations. These experiences continue to shape our values and our strong emphasis on fairness, accessibility, and respect for all individuals.
Herptivarius, LLC was founded on the belief that every individual deserves respect, fairness, and accommodations that uphold their dignity. Our company exists because, too often, organizations fail to uphold even their own standards; for many employers, EEO statements function as little more than corporate decoration rather than genuine commitments.
We believe that equal opportunity policies are meaningful only when they are applied consistently and in good faith. As our company moves toward a future operational phase, we remain committed to upholding all applicable federal, state, and local civil rights laws, including obligations enforced by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
We are committed to ethical, humane, and accessible business practices — not because it looks good on paper, but because we understand firsthand the impact when companies fall short. While we are not currently hiring and remain in an early foundational stage of development, we appreciate your interest in being part of our company. Your enthusiasm and willingness to be considered for future opportunities mean more than you know.
Herptivarius, LLC and its subsidiary will implement formal employment policies once we reach a future operational stage where staffing becomes appropriate and sustainable.
